WHAT IS ATAD?

The Association for Teen-Age Diplomats (ATAD) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1951, which coordinates international exchanges for high school students. The purpose of the ATAD student exchange program is to improve understanding of peoples and cultures through family living experiences. 

ATAD is officially recognized by the United States Department of State.  On the basis of materials submitted and reviewed, the Council on International Educational Travel grants full listing to ATAD in the 2005-2006 Advisory Listing.
