Host Families
Procedure: ATAD Host Family Emergency Response
Although we all hope that everything will go smoothly throughout an exchange student's stay, emergencies do arise, and ATAD stands ready to assist you, your exchange student and his or her natural family at all times. It is important in every emergency situation to contact the ATAD Program Chair, or another ATAD person, as soon as it is possible to do so. ATAD will work with you to determine the next step and will initiate emergency communication with the home country and natural family as appropriate. (Emerg)
