Volunteer with ATAD
The Association for Teen-Age Diplomats is always looking for motivated volunteers with skills applicable to our needs as an organization. In particular, if you are a foreign language teacher, guidance counselor, school administrator, accountant, attorney, marketing or fundraising professional, or other detail-oriented person, we would love to hear from you.
Much of the work we do as a Board involves:
recruitment of families to be hosts for 3-8 foreign students annually
interfacing with school districts, school principals, guidance counselors and language teachers to find the right fit for incoming foreign students
working with representatives from our partner counterparts in other countries both in relation to Rochester outbound students and their country’s prospective inbound (to Rochester) students
leadership, administration and communication to keep the organization running smoothly.
